Married at First Sight star Jasmine McGriff is opening up about whether she was really disappointed to find out she and her new husband, Will Guess, had drastically different views on gender roles after saying, "I do."

During Tuesday night's Married at First Sight broadcast of Season 8, Jasmine and Keith were shown disagreeing over how gender roles should impact daily life in their marriage during their honeymoon in Costa Rica.

Jasmine anticipated Will would take over most of their bills and she would cook and clean the house, but Will went into the marriage looking for a 50/50 partnership in all areas -- except he'd be willing to take on some "manly" tasks, such as taking out the trash.

"Jasmine, you seemed surprised by Will's response," host Jamie Otis noted on Tuesday night's Married at First Sight: Unfiltered broadcast.

"I am really thinking at this point like, 'Oh, I wonder why we were matched, having such different views,'" Jasmine admitted.

Jasmine was joined by her Married at First Sight Season 8 co-stars Luke Cuccurullo and Keith Dewar, who married Kate Sisk and Kristine Killingsworth, respectively, on Unfiltered.

"I was raised to provide for my wife and support my wife, so I agree with Jasmine -- the man is supposed to take care of those things," Keith insisted.

And then Luke shared his own opinion on the topic of gender roles in a marriage.

"I usually say 50/50 [in a relationship], but in reality, that's never how it turns out," Luke reasoned.

"Usually, I do feel like I take the brunt of the load. I can pay all of my bills already, so if somebody comes into that part of my life, whatever they can help with is appreciated."

Jamie -- who participated in Season 1 of Married at First Sight and is still happily married to Doug Hehner -- then asked Jasmine if she believes a compromise could be made or some type of agreement could be reached on what their roles should be in their new marriage.

"It's not a dealbreaker," Jasmine assured Jamie.

"I think it's more, kind of, an expectation that I had, but obviously you have to be open in this process. They are not going to have every same view that you have. It's something that we can compromise on."

Jasmine was definitely singing a different tune on Unfiltered from what she had said when cameras were rolling on her Married at First Sight honeymoon.

During a dinner out in Costa Rica, Jasmine said in a confessional, "The man is supposed to be the head of household. I think 50/50 is not providing... Right now, Will and I are not what I envisioned in my ideal marriage. If we can't get on the same level when it comes to gender roles, it's not going to work."

But clearly there is hope Jasmine and Will can hash out their issues, especially since the couple seemed to have a mutual attraction and get along great during the first few days of their arranged union.
