And earlier this week, Jamie took to Instagram to share with fans when the couple's new little bundle of joy is expected to arrive.

"We heard the HEARTBEAT for the first time at our fertility specialist!!! And we finally have a due date! Our family will be expanding by two little baby feet & a whole lotta love on May 14, 2020," Jamie wrote alongside photos of Doug, Henley and herself in New York City.

Jamie prepared her readers for a long caption, saying she had something to tell them.

"We had such a fun day in NYC today. {Peep the World Trade Center} We went to this fun event & then walked around SoHo. We finished the day off w dinner outside & that's where the last pic comes in," Jamie wrote, referencing a photo with a fan.

"This sweet woman named Lauren approached our table & said 'Jamie! Hi! I know you don't mind if your Frans come say hi so I just wanted to tell you that you've really inspired me'"

"She went on to say that infertility has affected so many she loves... and then she thanked me for being so open about my pregnancy loss and infertility struggle."

Jamie said such women inspire her as well, as others' stories about infertility have made her feel "less alone."

"Every message I've read where you share with me about loss or infertility -- OR never giving up & eventually having a rainbow baby -- has made me feel understood & encouraged," Jamie explained.

About one year ago, Jamie experienced a miscarriage shortly after conception was detected, and then in January 2019, Jamie disclosed she had lost a baby at 10 weeks, according to E! News.

"These struggles can be so isolating at times, but I've realized there are so many women going through it and none of us should feel alone," Jamie continued in her post.

"I have the strength to share my journey bc you first had the courage to share yours with me... and those rainbow baby stories gave me *so* much HOPE while I was in the midst of the storm...twice now."

Jamie concluded, "I want to thank *you* for reading this long af caption, for encouraging me during tough times, and celebrating with me during the good times."

"You have helped me far more than you'll ever know. *You* inspire ME! So, thank YOU. Truly."

Jamie recently revealed she'd love to welcome four children with Doug and also adopt two more kids.

Following their stint on Married at First Sight, Jamie and Doug co-starred on Married at First Sight: The First Year, a spinoff which continued to follow the two MAFS Season 1 couples who opted to remain together during their first year of marriage.

The couple also later starred on Married at First Sight: Jamie and Doug Plus One, their own spinoff which premiered in December 2017.
