Married at First Sight star Deonna McNeill is opening up about physical intimacy in her marriage to Gregory Okotie.

"We consummated our marriage. We had fun," Deonna said. "I approve. I'm happy. He is happy. We're both good."

Deonna, however, once told Greg that she was fine with just sleeping together once every other month, as long as that encounter would be mind-blowing each and every time. Greg at the time, however, admitted that timeline wouldn't work for him.
"Greg did not like that," Otis pointed out. "Have you found some middle ground on that now?"
"So, one thing we have learned is talking about the number of times we have sex really isn't healthy," Deonna explained.
"I think we both got hung up on, like, saying a number instead of just living in the moment."
Otis agreed with that sentiment, suggesting it's best to allow physical intimacy to "come naturally and spontaneously" in a relationship or marriage.
Deonna's Married at First Sight co-star, Jamie Thompson, also appeared on Unfiltered and admitted he had a similar issue with wife Elizabeth Bice.
"Jamie, I know you know all too well about this!" Otis joked.
"Yeah, I mean, Beth and I found the same thing, like, we threw out numbers to try to communicate our expectations, but at the same time, you don't want to keep count. When it's right, it's right," Thompson said of sleeping with his wife.
Throughout Season 9 of Married at First Sight, Deonna has been slow to open up to Greg. She has trouble being vulnerable and expressing her feelings and emotions to her husband, but Greg, on the other hand, wears his heart on his sleeve.

While Deonna and Greg appear to get along great, communication is the one area of their marriage in which they'd struggled.
During the Unfiltered broadcast, Deonna watched a Season 9 clip back of her sister telling Greg that Deonna is a "take it slow and feel it out" type of person.
Deonna's sister suggested Deonna just needed more time but Deonna was making an effort to open herself up.
"I definitely think it is very accurate," Deonna said of her sister's opinion. "But I definitely think Greg is working very diligently at tearing those walls down."
"I am letting my walls down slowly but surely," she added.
"I am taking my time to get to know him and truly understand what his intentons are and then just have that time to see that his words and actions align."
Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson, who also appeared on the Unfiltered broadcast, then offered his perspective on Deonna and Greg's relatoinship.

He then looked at Deonna and said, "I don't think you have a problem with letting your walls down, you just want to take them down in your own time."
Married at First Sight's currently-airing ninth season also stars Iris Caldwell and husband Keith Manley as well as Amber Bowles and Matthew Gwynne.
The next episode of Married at First Sight airing on Wednesday, September 11 will show each of the four couples determining whether they'd like to stay married or get a divorce now that the show's extreme eight-week experiment has come to an end.
