Married at First Sight star Dave Flaherty insists Amber Martorana was not more committed to their marriage on Season 7 of the Lifetime reality series just because her feelings were stronger.

"What do you think of Amber's comment she's more committed?" Jamie, who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight, asked Dave.
"It frustrates me so much. I think it's such B-S," Dave replied.
"I've dealt with so many insecurities and I've always been patient and come back to her. We've gone through so much."
Dave continued, "She may be at a different place with her feelings towards me than I am, but I am so committed to this process. And for her not to see that and discount that, it's one of those things where I just shut down even more."
Amber often pushes Dave to express his feelings on Married at First Sight, but he refuses to say what she wants to hear, claiming he tells her all the time and they have the same fight over and over again.
It's clear Amber was falling in love with Dave at this point in the process but he didn't reciprocate such feelings.

"Dave, so we often see you say that you tell Amber how you feel about her all the time and here on Unfiltered, you say, 'I tell her all the time. I don't know why she needs reassurance.' But we never really see you on-camera tell her. Right in this moment, right here, right now, how do you feel about Amber?" Jamie asked.
"I care about Amber deeply. I really do. I have her back; I want to support and protect her. And I hope to grow in love with her," Dave explained.
"I think you should tell her that more. I think she'd love to hear that more," Jamie noted.

"Granted, I could always say it more," Dave admitted. "I get that. I do. And I think everyone could, right? Like a lot of people could say it more, but maybe not [Bobby Dodd]."
Jamie then asked her other Unfiltered guest, Tristan Thompson -- who is married to Mia Bally on the show -- which spouse was more committed in their marriage.
"One of the things that has been controversial is we said, 'I love you,' too quick. And that's when I tried to differentiate a little bit later on, like, 'Yes, I love you, but I'm not in love with you,'" Tristan said.

"Now, because of all the things that we've gone through, I can say, 'I do really care for you. I do love you as a person.' But we're not ride or die yet."
In addition to Dave, Amber, Tristan and Mia, the other Season 7 Married at First Sight couple is Bobby and wife Danielle Bergman.
