Married at First Sight star Amber Bowles says her husband Matthew Gwynne insists he doesn't have a love language in his romantic relationships  -- a claim Pastor Calvin Roberson finds incredulous.

During an appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered that aired on August 28 on Lifetime, a conversation about love languages sparked when Amber discussed the kind of reassurance she likes to receive in a relationship with Pastor Cal, Unfiltered host Jamie Otis, and her MAFS co-star Elizabeth Bice.

"I really like words of affirmation, so if Matt could just give me words, that would mean more to me than physical touch or anything else," Amber shared.

And then when asked what Matt needs to feel confident and wanted in a relationship, Amber revealed, "He told me he doesn't really have a love language."

"Wait, he said what?!" Pastor Cal asked.

"I can't believe he said that!" Jamie exclaimed.

"He told me he doesn't have a love language," Amber repeated. "Like he loves himself so much, he doesn't need others to show it to him, so he doesn't need..."

"So he loves himself," Pastor Cal noted before shaking his head.

"He doesn't really need to be shown love from other people," Amber explained.

"That is the biggest bunch of crap I've ever heard in my life," Pastor Cal admitted.

As far as what Jamie Thompson does to reassure Elizabeth in their marriage that's playing out on Married at First Sight's ninth season, Elizabeth said on Unfiltered her husband is "really good" at showing he cares.

"I don't want to sound materialistic or anything, but he does do little cute gifts and things like that," Elizabeth shared.

"It is [his love language], and he'll write me cards here or there randomly and just leave them for me before he goes to work."

"And he makes her lattes," Amber chimed in.

"Oh my gosh, those lattes!" Elizabeth gushed.

Amber and Matt have had their share of highs and lows during the extreme eight-week experiment, but the highs were toward the beginning of their on-screen romance.

The latest episode of Married at First Sight showed there's only a week to go until "Decision Day," when each couple must decide whether they'd like to stay together or get a divorce, so Amber and the former professional basketball player will have a huge choice to make.

Most Married at First Sight fans presume Amber and Matt are headed for a divorce considering they have yet to establish a deep, meaningful connection and emotional intimacy -- beyond watching ESPN, according to Amber.

Amber even expressed during the Unfiltered episode she wasn't sure whether Matt was physically attracted to her.
