Married at First Sight featured Molly Duff and Jonathan Francetic telling their friends and family days ahead of "Decision Day" they had agreed to get divorced during Tuesday night's episode of the Lifetime series' sixth season.

Molly and Jonathan's marriage has been a roller-coaster from the start, as Jonathan has been shut out from any physical intimacy or affection. Molly never found her husband physically attractive -- although she recognized he's handsome and they have important values, hobbies and marriage expectations in common.

Well, a blowout fight at an Orlando bar during last week's episode resulted in the end of their marriage and Molly moving back in with her mother seven into this extreme social experiment.

More than 50 days into the marriages, Jonathan revealed to the cameras, "We both pretty much think this marriage is over."

Jonathan and Molly both sought out loved ones for support and advice following their split.

Molly told her sister that Jon's decision to record their argument was a violation of trust and that was "it" for her, while Jonathan told his pal that being married to Molly was like continuously running into a brick wall with no progress or hope.

"We have already determined that we are getting divorced," Jonathan told his friend. "I've put so much into this marriage that I'm devastated."

Molly also told her sister that Jon had "made it very clear" he didn't want to stay married to her.

Meanwhile, Shawniece Jackson and Jephte Pierre were doing great as Decision Day neared. Shawniece didn't want to be a failure, so she was scared and nervous about this day. She called it "the most important decision of my life."

But Jephte admitted that if he had to decide whether to stay married or get a divorce immediately after their trip to Vermont, he probably would have given up and let her go.

However, Jephte noted a lot had happened since then, like a new adorable puppy, and they were in a good place.

"I think we're a good fit... I could see myself with her in the long run," Jephte told the cameras.

Shawniece then revealed Jephte was everything she wanted in a husband, except for his stubbornness.

On Day 53, Ryan Buckley hosted the guys for dinner at his apartment, while Shawniece had the ladies over her place.

Jonathan remained quiet for a while and the guys could tell something was up, so it didn't take long for him to admit the breakup. Jonathan told the guys that even Dr. Jessica Griffin believed he had been a victim of "verbal and emotional abuse."

"We both know we're walking into Decision Day saying no," Jonathan noted.

Jephte opened up about his fight with Shawniece in Vermont that resulted in confusion and second-guessing in attempt to relate to Jonathan; however, he made it clear that he was happy overall.

Ryan then took this opportunity to admit he was torn over whether to remain married to Jaclyn Schwartzberg since they fought often and she had made a habit of shutting him out.

"We're not as close as we were, like, I just feel more distant now. If we were to cut ties, I wouldn't be heartbroken at all," Ryan confessed.

"That's one of the biggest reasons I feel like I don't know what's going to happen. Because why would I feel nothing if I'm getting divorced from my wife?"

Jephte insisted it wasn't fair for Ryan to judge Jaclyn after only seven weeks with her, and Jonathan seemed to agree.

"Ryan is about as confusing as Molly at this point. I think he's scared and doesn't want to get hurt, which is fair and valid. But some of it just doesn't compute. I think Ryan's expectations are really high... and it's only hurting his situation," Ryan explained in a confessional.

Regardless of what was to occur on Decision Day, Jephte hoped the guys would stay in touch and remain friends after this.

Meanwhile, Molly revealed her bad news to the girls on "Taco Tuesday."

"It's 150 percent permanent," Molly told the girls of her pending divorce, "like not a single question [in my head]... there's no going back."

Molly claimed she had put all of her effort into the marriage but Jonathan eventually lost patience with her over their lack of a physical connection.

Molly wished she and Jonathan could at least end on the same page, with a mutual feeling of respect and closure, but she feared that wasn't going to happen -- especially since Jonathan refused to answer her attempts at communication.

After the dinner, once Ryan and Jaclyn returned home, Ryan confessed to his wife that he was "really torn" over their future together. And after dropping that bombshell, he insisted to Jaclyn that he had every right to feel scared and apprehensive at this point.

Ryan admitted he was still unsure about Decision Day, and she was shocked and blindsided. She thought they both wanted to make the marriage work. Jaclyn therefore began questioning herself, thinking, "What am I still doing? Because you could end it in five days."

Ryan addressed his concerns about their frequent fights and how they threatened divorce every time an argument happened. Ryan feared divorce would always be an option and an escape if they were to stay married, and he didn't want that type of tumultuous relationship.

"If it's going to work, it's going to work. If it's not, it's not," Ryan pointed out.

"It's not going to work with that attitude," Jaclyn noted, later adding that her marriage was "hanging by a thread" and "it might actually be over."

The next day, Jonathan drove to see his mother Cheryl and his stepfather to disclose the fact he's getting a divorce. Cheryl called it "a shame," as she was excited for her son and seemed to really like Molly.

Cheryl could tell her son was very disappointed, but she knew it would only be a matter of time before he bounced back. Jonathan said the experts did a great job matching him with Molly but the situation wasn't right.

That night, Jaclyn helped Molly pack her stuff when Jonathan wasn't home. Molly couldn't believe Jonathan could cut her off so easily, as she sent him a long text message that he never responded to. She felt Jonathan blamed her for everything and took no responsibility.

Jaclyn then expressed to Molly how Ryan was suddenly confused about their relationship, and Molly told Jaclyn that she should never have to convince her husband to want to be with or stay with her.

On Day 55 of the marriages, Shawniece and Jephte got into a little tiff over their cars, and he acknowledged they often disagreed. Shawniece felt she couldn't win with Jephte, and she clearly thought the argument was over something silly.

But it didn't take long for the couple to laugh things off, and Shawniece realized Jephte cared and wanted their marriage to work just as much as she did.

Meanwhile, Jaclyn was devastated, feeling her marriage was "on the brink of divorce."

However, Ryan apologized to his wife for acting weird and being unsure. Jaclyn was so happy to hear regret in Ryan's voice, because she confessed that she had felt "super hurt" by his doubts. At the end of the day, Jaclyn really wanted to be with Ryan.

As part of his apology, Ryan presented Jaclyn with a very sweet and thoughtful gift. He had molded flowers from their wedding day into a dainty silver necklace, and she cried tears of joy.

Ryan and Jaclyn were continuing to build trust in one another, and Ryan acknowledged he didn't want to mess things up.
