The four Married at First Sight couples this season are Luke, 30, and Kate, 27; Will, 37, and Jasmine, 29; Keith Dewar, 29, and Kristine Killingsworth, 28; and AJ Vollmoeller, 37, and Stephanie Sersen, 35.

The couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Jessica Griffin, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz based on compatibility, personality, life goals, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and much more.

Over the course of the season, which filmed for seven weeks, each couple will be shown navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together after agreeing to an arranged marriage.

The latest Married at First Sight episode began on the day after each couple's one-month anniversary.

Kate said she woke up the morning after her anniversary with Luke -- when he didn't plan anything and bailed on her for his friends -- and he asked if she was "okay." After she assured Luke she was fine, Kate claimed Luke admitted he was not okay.

"I can't let his unhappiness determine my own happiness, because it's going to be a cycle of us just worrying about each other. So what I think I'm going to do is just stay positive," Kate told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Jasmine expressed frustration over how Will had rated her a 6.8 on a scale from 1-10 in terms of her performance as a wife.

Will, however, had claimed a relationship is never perfect and so his rating was essentially based on a 0-9 scale. Jasmine understood Will's point and decided to drop her anger, but she laughed about how he better score her higher next time.

On Day 32 of marriage, Dr. Jessica checked in with AJ and Stephanie, who appeared to be very happy in their marriage. The couple only had two weeks left until "Decision Day," when they must decide whether to stay together or get a divorce.

Dr. Jessica showed the couple video footage of when they had great communication and when they were lacking in that area.

AJ and Stephanie's challenges seemed to derive from AJ's quick temper and frustrations. AJ didn't think the moments were significant considering his outbursts had nothing to do with Stephanie or their marriage.

AJ admitted it was difficult to deal with the show's production and he was "disgusted" by the level of "mess" they added to "an already complicated situation."

"It's just extremely unnatural," AJ told Dr. Jessica.

Dr. Jessica advised AJ to not let the documentation process affect his relationship with Stephanie, as he often vented out his frustrations onto his wife.

Stephanie appeared uncomfortable with AJ's behavior but Dr. Jessica recognized AJ was "in complete denial."

Stephanie remained quiet when Dr. Jessica probed for answers, so the expert hoped Stephanie would voice her opinions and stand up for herself when necessary.

Meanwhile, Jasmine and Will enjoyed a fun-filled game of bowling. The couple was doing well working through their issues, and Jasmine acknowledged their chemistry was good and they "played around a lot."

The competition heated up but Jasmine and Will both had a ball and let loose with each other.

When they took a break, Jasmine asked Will if he had a five-year plan. Will explained he wanted to save in order to buy a bigger and nicer property and welcome children in hopefully two to three years.

Will told his wife he'd also like to move into the direction of a coaching job in the near future, but Jasmine pointed out they don't make a lot of money unless they can be in charge of a D-1 school or professional team.

"Will talking about switching careers was a little concerning because you need money to definitely have multiple kids," Jasmine said in a confessional.

Will was "a bit shocked" Jasmine was so focused on money, and he wondered when it was going to be enough. Will wanted a partnership out of marriage as well as to feel supported in all of his dreams and endeavors.

On Day 33 of marriage, Kate confessed she felt "terrible" in her marriage. She confided in her friend Brittany and wondered if Luke was trying in their relationship -- because his actions proved otherwise.

Kate said Luke chose to leave every time they had an opportunity to be together. Brittany felt Luke was acting "super fake" because his words didn't match his behavior and he wasn't putting effort into his marriage.

Kate was hoping a friendship would blossom into a romance, but it wasn't happening.

"I know divorce is an option and my gut is kind of telling me that is what I should do," Kate told her friends.

"I just went into this so hopeful and it's just not working, and it sucks that it's because he isn't into me. I feel like my heart is just broken."

Kate then burst into tears and Brittany tried to console her.

Meanwhile, Kristine and Keith were doing great and enjoyed a romantic date night out. They took some time out of their busy lives to connect. The couple talked about travel and family, but family brought up a tense point between them.

Keith told Kristine he wanted to start a family within five years, but Kristine disagreed and insisted they should wait until he's done with medical school, which would take 5-7 more years.

Keith said he doesn't want to be the "old dad" at the playground, but Kristine looked forward to more real estate courses and career opportunities.

"Seriously, do I have any say in this marriage?" Keith asked the cameras in a confessional.

On Day 35 of marriage, Stephanie had to leave for a work trip, and it was going to be the first time she and AJ would spend an extended period of time apart.

While driving Stephanie to the hospital, AJ had a little bit of road rage and barked at Stephanie to stop telling him what to do. She admitted AJ had crossed a line with her and she was affected by his actions.

"He doesn't know when he's crossing my line yet," Stephanie said, adding that they'd talk about things upon her return.

Afterward, Will sat down with two of his friends to discuss married life. Will said his marriage was going well but he's not "monetary based" and Jasmine wasn't exactly supportive of that.

Will was worried because Jasmine tended to go back and forth in her opinions about the provider role. Will wanted to follow his passions and not feel guilty about the lack of money coming in.

Will didn't feel like he was responsible for all of the bills to begin with, and so he was confused about the type of person Jasmine might be.

With 13 days until "Decision Day," Kate felt she was "getting nowhere" in her marriage, and she didn't foresee her relationship with Luke getting better.

Kate then called Dr. Jessica and explained how Luke had left her alone on their one-month anniversary and she was beginning to consider filing for divorce.

"Okay, this is what I need to do," Kate said. "I never thought I would be the one to bring up divorce, but I feel the challenges, and hurt and miscommunication over the first few weeks has really taken a toll."

Kate acknowledged her relationship with Luke felt "forced" and she wished things were more "real" between them.

"I really wanted it to work out and, I don't know. It's still hard to be around him, but at the same time, I still want to be," Kate cried to Dr. Jessica, confirming she had strong feelings for him.

Since Kate was still emotionally invested in her marriage, Dr. Jessica asked her to have "a real and raw conversation" with Luke. Kate decided it made sense to open up to Luke and explain why she was so unhappy.

Dr. Jessica later visited Jasmine and Will in their home. Will said they needed to improve on having "clear communication," especially when it comes to her belief of gender roles and her expectations.

"Effective communication is the No. 1 thing lacking. My biggest fear is that she will revert back to what she genuinely wants, and if the man paying for everything is what she wants, then that's not me," Will said in a confessional.

Will accused Jasmine of "flip-flopping" in her approach to gender roles. Jasmine explained she wanted Will to take care of most of the bills but she didn't expect him to take them all on.

Dr. Jessica wanted to make sure Jasmine was compromising in her marriage rather than sacrificing.

The expert worried Jasmine was going to become resentful in her relationship, so Dr. Jessica asked them both to dig deep inside of themselves and communicate with each other better in terms of their wants and needs.

With only 11 days until "Decision Day," Stephanie returned home and AJ was thrilled to see her.

However, Stephanie needed to talk to AJ to make sure they were on the same page. Stephanie opened up about how AJ's frustrations tended to weigh on her because they relieved stress in different ways.

"Sometimes, enough is enough, and I think that's when I reach my breaking point," Stephanie shared.

Stephanie said it wasn't a good sign she had already seen AJ get so mad in their marriage, but he insisted he felt horrible about his actions and was going to do his best to improve as a husband.

AJ was proud of the foundation he had built with Stephanie, and he loved learning more and more about her every day. AJ had every intention to address their issues and move forward together, growing in love.

It then became time for Kate to confront Luke about his behavior. Kate shared how hurt she was that Luke didn't plan anything for their one-month anniversary, but Luke told her, "I do not want to get a divorce, because I care about you."

"Do you think I'm not getting attached at all?" Luke asked her.

"I know you are not into me, so I am hurt," Kate said.

"I still just get concerned about you, like the hyperbole of your words, I would say... Extreme absolutes when you talk," Luke explained.

Kate was starting to wonder whether the feelings she had developed for Luke were "due to manipulation and not reality."

Kate told her husband "a dangerous game was happening," but then Luke apologized for a tough few weeks and claimed he was trying to "make the best of the situation."

That didn't make Kate feel any better, but Luke said he didn't know what else to do.

Luke was unaware things had gotten so bad between them. Luke said the initial rejection she felt was clearly still haunting her.

"I feel sometimes I kind of hurt you too much and I don't know what I can do to get you to trust me again or get you to want to be a team with me," Luke said.

Kate admitted she was emotionally invested in the marriage but feared Luke's future attempts weren't going to work for him.

Luke told his wife she did things that he found attractive at times, and with that being said, Kate asked him to share those moments when they occur.

Luke promised to be more direct and give Kate more compliments. He cared about Kate and was starting to see why the experts had matched them, so he didn't want to give up on their marriage.

"I'm sorry. I guess I didn't realize how upset you were. I don't want to get a divorce. That has still not changed," Luke told Kate.

"Okay," she replied. "Okay."

Kristine was then shown meeting with her sister Deanna and venting about how Keith's priorities were "way off." She wanted to travel and focus on their future, but Kristine accused Keith of constantly talking about kids.

While Keith being raised and taken care of his grandmother was "a turnoff," Kristine acknowledged he was different from the men she used to date and those past relationships never worked out for a reason. Kristine was very hopeful her marriage would last.

Ten days before "Decision Day," Stephanie gushed about why she and AJ were so right for each other. They both loved travel, adventure, friendly gatherings and more. Stephanie and AJ also had similar outgoing, optimistic personalities.

Meanwhile, Keith made Kristine dinner, and Will and Jasmine made smores by their firepit outside.

Will hoped he and Jasmine would be able to form a tight-knit family and find a way to overcome their differences. Will was also looking forward to upping their intimacy.
