Married at First Sight couple Dave Flaherty and Amber Martorana reached a breaking point in their marriage, while Mia Bally came to regret threatening to divorce Tristan Thompson during Tuesday night's Season 7 broadcast on Lifetime.

The three Dallas-based couples who tied the knot at first sight this season were Tristan, a 29-year-old former collegiate and semi-pro basketball player who recently started a tutoring center business, and Mia, a 29-year-old airline recruiter; Amber, a 36-year-old division order analyst, and Dave, a 37-year-old senior portfolio manager; and Bobby Dodd, a 27-year-old project manager, and Danielle Bergman, a 30-year-old account executive.

They were matched by the following Married at First Sight experts: Psychologist Dr. Jessica Griffin, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and marriage counselor Pastor Calvin Roberson.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began on Day 50 of marriage, with each couple waking up on the first morning of their weekend getaways or mini-moons.

Since Amber and Dave really connected on their honeymoon, they were looking forward to spending this time alone in San Antonio, TX.

Meanwhile, Bobby made Danielle cinnamon rolls, one of her favorite breakfast treats, during their stay in Broken Bow, OK. Danielle felt "a lot of pressure" with "Decision Day" right around the corner.

Bobby was still hoping to hear Danielle say, "I love you."

But Bobby and Danielle's problem was insignificant compared to what was happening between Tristan and Mia, who left their Austin, TX, hotel in the middle of the night following an argument about whether or not Tristan had kicked her out of his apartment.

According to Tristan, Mia took off, "disappeared," and refused to answer her phone.

"I left the hotel at 1AM, because after the car ride, I did not feel he wanted to be married to me, and so I -- in fear of not wanting to be left -- was like, 'Let me figure out where to go and how to do everything,'" Mia told the cameras.

Mia texted Tristan, asking if he would be willing to discuss their issues, and he was ready to get everything out on the table.

Tristan told Mia he was "spent," and Mia said they fought over "small stuff." To Tristan, however, Mia saying, "I want a divorce," was a huge deal.

Tristan admitted if "Decision Day" was that same day, he would choose not to stay married to Mia. She, as a result, was feeling "broken," because Tristan validated what she "thought he was feeling was right."

Tristan said in a confessional that Mia paints the picture she's a victim and rarely takes responsibility for her actions. Mia confessed she threw out the word "divorce" simply because she wanted to hear Tristan say he really wanted to be with her.

Mia didn't want a divorce, but she confessed she doesn't know how to fix everything that had happened in the past. Similarly, Tristan really cared for Mia and didn't want to throw the towel in.

However, Tristan -- who held himself accountable for his own actions in this dispute -- needed to know Mia really wanted to stay committed. Mia acknowledged she had "made a mistake" but marriage was really hard.

With that being said, the couple decided to try to enjoy the rest of their little vacation together.

Bobby and Danielle were then shown doing some fly fishing, which was an activity outside of Danielle's comfort zone. He loved seeing Danielle with a hat and no makeup on, and much to their surprise, she ended up catching a fish!

Bobby noted he would do anything to make things work with Danielle because he really wanted to be in this marriage.

Meanwhile, Amber and Dave's relationship seemed strong, but Dave confessed he had yet to make a decision about whether to seek a divorce on "Decision Day."

"Wow, 'Decision Day' is right around the corner and that scares me because I just don't know where we stand. Dave is having a really hard time viewing this as a marriage, and that hurts, because my vows were real and this is real life. Dave is my real husband and I have real feelings," Amber said in a confessional.

Amber wondered whether Dave would want to be with her if he didn't have to be with her. Amber anticipated Dave would have stronger feelings for her at this point in the process.

Dave felt they had this same conversation hundreds of times, so he refused to tell Amber what she wanted to hear since he had expressed how much he cared for her so many times.

Amber didn't know if Dave was just being stubborn and had genuine feelings for her, or if he was just "playing" with her the whole time.

"Dave may not be ready for marriage, and maybe he didn't want to be married as much as I did," Amber noted in a confessional.

Dave told Amber that she couldn't expect him to feel the same way and approach the process the same way. Amber understood where Dave was coming from and opted to drop the subject.

In Austin, Tristan and Mia were then shown enjoying a picnic by a lake. They had experienced ups, downs, and blowups, but Tristan wanted to focus on the positives of their relationship.

Over lunch, both Mia and Tristan agreed they were "a work in progress," that they had yet to master any part of being married. Tristan appreciated Mia's desire to reflect on her past errors in judgment and better herself.

Meanwhile, Bobby and Danielle went to a brewery together and enjoyed flights of local beer. Bobby opened up to his wife about how he loved her equally to his mother, sister and more, and Danielle had strong feelings for her husband as well.

But Bobby worried Danielle was not falling in love with him. He was starting to get a little nervous.

Dave and Amber then went to a nearby vineyard, and it was a beautiful location and a beautiful day. The couple ate some cheese and drank some wine, but Amber wasn't happy deep down over how the day was going.

Dave was uncomfortable as well, and he was growing tired of the same discussion.

"I just feel she's being ridiculous," Dave told the cameras. "I'm sort of taking the stance that, 'Fine, you don't think I care about you? Then I'm going to act as if I don't care about you.' We'll see how that goes."

Dave admitted to Amber he wasn't going to pretend to feel a certain way about her just to satisfy her needs. They were clearly both frustrated with each other, and Dave was shutting down.

"I'm at my wit's end. I just feel like I'm done right now," Dave said in a confessional, before telling Amber he didn't want to have the conversation about whether they were committed to each other.

That night, Tristan and Mia enjoyed a dinner out, and they were both feeling good. The couple laughed together and made light of their problems.

Tristan acknowledged if he held onto his anger and past resentment, he'd "lose a great partner."

After a roller-coaster of a day, Amber and Dave went out to dinner as well. There was an awkward silence, and Amber admitted it was "the longest day" of her life.

Dave was being "super cold and super resistant," according to Amber, so she didn't see their conversation going anywhere. And Amber was right, because Dave was offering nothing to the conversation.

"I feel like I've been pushed to the limit of my patience in this situation. I feel like I've been incredibly caring in this relationship, and I also feel that's not being recognized," Dave explained.

Dave told Amber that she appreciated nothing he had done up to this point if his words and actions resulted in her theory he had no feelings for her. Amber didn't know where to go from there.

"You're being such a d-ck," Amber told Dave. "You're making me so mad!"

"Whatever," Dave replied at dinner.

Dave realized he was being childish and stubborn, but he felt an "immense amount of pressure" to be in a place he didn't necessarily "naturally feel."

Dave told the cameras he had "deep, strong feelings for Amber," but if he felt forced to take those feelings to the next level without actually getting there, their marriage wouldn't work.

Dave suggested to Amber they could both walk away from the relationship if they believed it was the right thing to do, but then they both smirked at each other.

Despite hitting rock bottom, both Dave and Amber realized their fight was ridiculous. Dave said he had to do something drastic to get them out of a rut and avoid having the same argument over and over again, and it worked.

The couple was simply taking things too seriously and Dave needed a little bit of a break. He just wasn't ready to say, "I am in love with you," yet, but he had every reason to be optimistic.

Amber determined she should "dial it back" and be more patient with Dave's organic process in this wild eight-week experiment.

On Day 51 of marriage, each couple packed up their belongings and headed home. Tristan and Mia grew a lot, as did Amber and Dave.
