The couples were paired by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Dr. Viviana Coles.

Married at First Sight, Episode 13

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with only five days remaining until "Decision Day."

The four couples had reached the end of their retreat, and Elizabeth gushed about having had a wonderful weekend with Jamie. She said something just clicked for her and it must have been "magic in the woods."

Deonna also felt the gathering had made her feel closer to Greg, and Keith and Iris seemed happy.

Elizabeth hoped all the couples could return to the same cabin in the mountains every year going forward as a fun reunion, but Amber still had some soul-searching to do.

Amber wanted her marriage to work with her "whole being," but she just wasn't sure Matt was on the same page.

Elizabeth was then shown meeting with her mother for lunch. She was "on edge" and "anxious" when determining whether to stay married to Jamie because the couple had been through a lot together.

Elizabeth wondered whether she could get past some of the things Jamie had said to her, such as accusing her of nepotism and calling her "a materialistic c-nt." She admitted to her mother that Jamie was "way too emotional" and she wasn't sure whether she could handle that for the rest of her life.

Elizabeth said she and Jamie brought out bad and great sides to each other.

Elizabeth's mom planned to be supportive of her daughter regardless of her decision, but she was fully ready to embrace Jamie into the family if that's the course Elizabeth decided to take.

Jamie meets with Elizabeth's friend

Jamie then met with Elizabeth's friend Mario for a chat to seek some answers about Elizabeth. Jamie said things were good in his relationship. He said their romance was a 10 out of 10 sometimes, but at other times, he had to get away in fear things wouldn't work out.

Jamie admitted he and Elizabeth had a lot of fights about sex and Elizabeth could be "a contradiction" at times. Jamie revealed Elizabeth had said his penis was made for her vagina but then she'd reject sex.

Mario explained Jamie felt sex bonded him with Elizabeth but Elizabeth wanted to be bonded before having sex.

Mario figured Jamie and Elizabeth were on opposite ends of the spectrum, but he advised Jamie to focus on what's really important first, such as their emotional connection and simply getting along.

Greg and Deonna talk with others

Footage then flashed to Greg meeting with his friend Piko. Greg said he had pretty much made a decision. He appreciated when Deonna opened up to him and showed she cared. Greg predicted Deonna would be there for him during tough or stressful times.

But Greg said Deonna wasn't great at communicating her feelings and emotions. Greg said Deonna was "making baby steps" but he feared what might happen once the cameras shut off and the experts leave.

Greg's friend really got him thinking whether he had arrived at the correct decision. He said Deonna also got tired of him overthinking things, especially when it comes to trust in their relationship.

Greg admitted he was "growing in love" and his sex life was "a big plus," and then Deonna was shown telling her girlfriends that physical intimacy was "good" in her relationship.

Deonna, however, wasn't 100 percent sure about her decision, and she wanted nothing more than to feel completely confident. Deonna said she was trying to be less stubborn and let her walls down, but Greg also had to stop overthinking things.

"I do not love him yet, but I will say that I'm on that path to get there," Deonna told her friends, adding that she needed to think clearly about the last eight weeks and reach a conclusion.

Keith and Iris discuss each other with their moms

With three days until "Decision Day," Keith sat down with his mom, whom he could really confide in.

Keith admitted he was on the fence about whether to stay in the marriage.

Keith called Iris an "amazing woman" who continues to push herself to do and be better, which is something he admired, but he said they had different perspectives on things and were on "different levels" when it comes to emotional maturity.

Keith had concerns about Iris' virginity in that even talking about sex with Iris tended to get uncomfortable. At Keith's age, he wanted sex with his wife to be an easy and natural conversation.

However, Keith said his values and morals were compatible with Iris' character and he felt they made a great team. He just wanted the both of them to end up happy, regardless of the decisions made.

Meanwhile, Iris met with her mother and friend and opened up about how she and Keith were an "amazing match" and were in a great place.

Iris revealed she'd "of course" like to stay married because Keith had some incredible qualities she'd like in a husband, but she hoped he felt the same way about her.

Iris thought Keith and herself were starting to feel more comfortable with physical intimacy, and she had hope sex would happen naturally when they're both ready.

"If sex is a determining factor for Keith about moving forward in our marriage when it comes to Decision Day, I would be devastated, because I put my whole heart into this," Iris explained. "I put every aura of my being into making this work... [it] makes me a little anxious."

After putting so much energy into marriage, Iris insisted getting a divorce would "crush" her.

Iris felt like she hadn't given Keith a reason to desire divorce, so she predicted he'd want to stay together as well.

Matt talks about Amber with his friend

Matt then met with his best friend Devon and said his marriage had been "quite a journey" and he was getting close to the end. Matt said he was very happy and proud about how much effort he and Amber had both put into their relationship.

Matt said he had initial chemistry with Amber and they had built a strong foundation by being able to work through issues and tough times. That gave Matt confidence, but he said Amber had issues with him hanging out with the boys "a couple of nights a week."

Devon called Matt out for having a lack of communication, but he wrote off the behavior by calling him "a creature of habit." Matt admitted he struggled to communicate and left things up to Amber's imagination.

"So her mind went to the worst case scenario and it's really annoying. Amber can be a little clingy," Matt said.

"You know, as much as we get along and as much fun as we have together, I just don't want to be with her all the time. I don't have those urges, so some of the cons I'm weighing out right now is trying to decide whether Amber is the person I want to spend the rest of my life with."

Matt just didn't know what he wanted for his future with Amber.

Deonna and Greg enjoy a final romantic dinner

With only two days to go until "Decision Day," each couple enjoyed one last romantic dinner together.

Deonna wasn't sure Greg matched the description of everything she had been looking for, and Greg was confused about whether he and his wife were on the same wavelength.

Greg found it "super frustrating" when Deonna wouldn't share her feelings. He really needed her to communicate in order for their relationship to grow and strengthen.

"Do you love me?" Greg asked Deonna while playing a game of pool.

"I honestly, I don't know," Deonna replied.

Jamie seems to pick a fight with Elizabeth

Meanwhile, Elizabeth gushed to Jamie about how she felt "super lucky" to have been paired with him and he's "one of the most amazing humans on this earth." Elizabeth thanked Jamie for his support and being fun but also for calling her out when she needed a check.

Jamie felt he had learned how to be centered and thrive in a healthy relationship. He had a good time with Elizabeth and said they "vibed out," and Jamie had trouble envisioning his life without her going forward.

Elizabeth and Jamie had some crazy highs and huge lows. He said he was concerned because they didn't stick to their boundaries, and Elizabeth hoped they could speak the same language about sex once it's back on the table.

"I think I'm very upfront and open about what I'm looking for... And I follow through with what I say... [But] I feel like you talk a lot of game and talk about this sexual being that you are, but at the end of the day, you're really not and it's hard for me to deal with," Jamie said.

"You don't think I'm a sexual being?" Elizabeth asked.

"No, not in the least... I feel like I was led on a lot of times... There's a lot of excuses," Jamie noted.

Jamie then explained to the cameras that Elizabeth wanted to be sexy and she wanted him to be sexually attracted to her.

"But then when I try to act on that, she shuts me down. I think she needs the validation; she needs the reassurance that she's sexy. But she doesn't really care if things progress past that," Jamie explained.

"So there are some deeper-rooted issues we need to work out if this marriage is going to be successful."

Elizabeth felt Jamie was shaming her about her sexual drive, and she wasn't okay with that. She therefore told Jamie their last date before "Decision Day" might be their last date ever.

Amber and Matt have beers at a brewery

As for Amber and Matt, they both enjoyed beers at a brewery and admitted they had a lot in common -- at least on paper. Amber hoped they could connect since it was the last night they'd have together.

Matt told Amber that he loved having a wife because she'd have his back and he no longer had to go grocery shopping alone. Matt said while he enjoyed his solitude, he can get lonely at times and it's nice to have a person always there.

Matt thought he and Amber made a good team and she was always there to support him, but Amber admitted there were times when he had hurt her feelings. At the same time, however, Amber said Matt made her really happy on occasion.

Matt acknowledged his relationship wasn't perfect but he and Amber definitely had the potential to grow.

Matt told Amber things were working between them, and she wanted to believe him so badly because in that moment, she was blissfully happy.

Iris and Keith enjoy a final romantic dinner

Meanwhile, Iris expressed to Keith over dinner about how she was anxious over how things were going to end up for them. She said they were extremely compatible.

"If I was going to be married to a stranger, this is about as good as it gets right here," Keith told his wife. "For real."

Keith was glad Iris felt comfortable around him, however, he still viewed Iris' virginity as "an obstacle."

Everyone says their goodbyes

The day before "Decision Day," the pressure was on and each couple spent the night away from each other so they could choose whether to stay married -- hopefully forever -- or call it quits.

Every spouse had a lot to consider and figure out.

Jamie, for example, wondered if love would be enough with Elizabeth and if they really knew how to love each other. And Deonna admitted divorce would be "worst case scenario."

When Amber said goodbye to Matt, she started crying because things were getting "real" and "permanent." Amber felt Matt had given her more quality time and wanted to be with her, but she wouldn't know for sure until "Decision Day."

"Amber and I have been through a lot in a short period of time, and I think that's brought us pretty close. It's just whether or not I have strong enough feelings for her to continue to be in a marriage with her. I think that's what I'm trying to figure out," Matt told the cameras.

Amber learns Matt was seen with another woman

Amber spent the night at her best friend Raven's house before "Decision Day," and she was feeling "really good" about her relationship with Matt although her feelings were "everywhere" and she was still a bit wary.

But Raven had some bad news to share with Amber, and he didn't know how to tell her.

"The other night, I was out at a bar and I saw Matt with another girl. They were definitely focused on each other and it didn't look good," Raven shared.

"They looked together?" Amber asked.

"Yeah," Raven replied. "I'm sorry. It's not something I wanted to have to tell you."

Amber broke down into tears. She hated the idea of giving up on her marriage because she liked Matt so much and wanted it to work so badly.

"I don't want this to end. I just don't want to believe," Amber admitted. "If he didn't want to be with me, I just wish he would have f-cking told me. I just f-cking hate hearing this sh-t."

The episode ended with Amber bawling and hiding her face from the cameras.

"Why can't he just be honest?! Why does he think I deserve that?" Amber questioned.

"You don't deserve it," Raven said. "This has nothing to do with you not living up to something. It has something to do with his effort back into this and back into you."

Amber wondered, as a result, what Matt had been doing the entire time, especially since he had spent "so many days and so many nights" away from her.

Raven wished he could say something to make Amber feel better, but she just vented about how she was "tired of the bullsh-t."

Raven told the cameras it didn't feel good to tell Amber her husband was "potentially being unfaithful to her." He knew the news was devastating for Amber considering she had put her all into the process and wanted to be married for all the right reasons.

Raven said Amber had been very forgiving and it was unfortunate she had attempted to rationalize things that Matt had done to hurt her.

Amber then walked away crying, saying she didn't want to do this anymore.
