Married at First Sight star's Luke Cuccurullo's decision to tell his new wife Kate Sisk he felt "repulsed" and "dead inside" after their first real kiss left show expert Pastor Calvin Roberson exasperated and dumbfounded.

"How unfiltered do you want me to be?" Pastor Cal told Married at First Sight: Unfiltered host Jamie Otis when asked to comment on Luke's decision on Tuesday night's Unfiltered episode.

Kate also had a lot to say on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered after watching back a Season 8 clip in which she revealed on her honeymoon Luke had said he felt "repulsed" and "dead inside" following their first real kiss.

"Kate that is so tough to watch. I'm sure it's hard for you to have to relive it," Jamie told Kate. "Walk us through what happened."

Kate recalled of the painful incident with her husband, "Leading up to the kiss, every night we had been cuddling and he initiated cuddling and so I felt like we were getting more intimate, so then we started kissing. And then he pulled away and I could tell something was wrong."

"So I think I asked him, 'Are you okay?' And that's when he said, 'I feel dead inside,'" Kate continued.

"And I was just, like, completely shocked. And then he got up and went to the bathroom, and I was like, 'Are you okay?' And he said, 'I feel repulsed.' And I'm just like, 'How is it that bad?!' I'm just baffled."

Jamie then looked to Pastor Cal for some insight, and the Married at First Sight expert immediately made his "How unfiltered do you want me to be?" remark with clear frustration.

After everyone let out a laugh -- including Married at First Sight star Kristine Killingsworth, who also appeared on Tuesday night's Unfiltered broadcast -- Jamie noted, "It's time to be unfiltered."

"I mean, come on! Anybody watching this can see how this is just asinine," Pastor Cal admitted.

"This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. To respond by saying, 'I am repulsed,' and, 'I feel dead inside,' that is just a boneheaded statement to make."

As Pastor Cal -- who is typically calm and reserved -- slammed Luke, Kate looked down at her lap and let out an awkward laugh.

"I mean, why would you do that?!" Pastor Cal exclaimed.

Kristine then offered her own opinion on Luke's harsh reaction to kissing his wife for the first time (other than a brief peck at the altar on their wedding day).

"I don't know. Right now, I'm feeling really bad for Kate. I'm feeling for her," Kristine explained.

"That's terrible and you don't want to hear it. It just seems like the small issue [Luke] may have had with the attraction, it's just growing! I think he's ridiculous."

Jamie then asked Pastor Cal if he believed Kate and Luke could get past this and if there was any hope for the couple to succeed.

"I believe in marriage. I believe in the ability to rebound," Pastor Cal replied.

"That's my internal belief about relationships, but I also am a realist. If they are going to get by this, he has an incredible amount of work to do to repair."

Pastor Cal elaborated by saying the only way to heal negativity is through a constant show of positivity.

"[It requires] more reaffirming, [Luke] being more accepting, and him not giving mixed messages," Pastor Cal insisted.

"He has a lot of work to do to reverse and repair -- if he can do that. And then it's on [Kate] as to whether or not she'll accept that and be okay with that."

Although most women would probably shut down after learning such a hurtful revelation, Kate revealed on Unfiltered, "I don't want to throw in the towel yet."

The optimistic blonde beauty confessed, "It's only been a week. To be honest right now, this is not going very well, but I want to see what it's like getting back to Philadelphia and the real world. But it's going to take a while to process what happened on our honeymoon."

Jamie, Pastor Cal and Kristine agreed they've been "disappointed" watching what Kate had to go through while filming Married at First Sight.

"Absolutely," Pastor Cal noted.

"I'm very disappointed," Jamie reiterated.

The other stars of Married at First Sight's eighth season are Kristine, 28, and Keith Dewar, 29; AJ Vollmoeller, 37, and Stephanie Sersen, 35; and Will Guess, 37, and Jasmine McGriff, 29.
