The show currently features five couples blossoming and deepening their connections.

Isabella, a 25-year-old hostess from Atlanta, GA, is matched with Tyler, a 26-year-old construction company owner from Greeley, CO.

Eric Acosta, a 31-year-old entrepreneur and son of a diplomat from Denver, CO, is paired with Katie Muller, a 28-year-old in digital advertising from Denver, CO.

Brandin Brosh, a 28-year-old clothing boutique owner from Biloxi, MS, has her eyes set on Jona Bienko, a 35-year-old auto broker from Como, CO.

Shannon Raddler, a 33-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Atlanta, GA, is interested in pursuing Kimber Gardner, a 28-year-old medical sales representative from Las Vegas, NV.

And finally, Jada Rashawn, a 27-year-old professional nanny placement specialist and brand spokesperson from San Antonio, TX, is a couple with Chris Perry, a 29-year-old musician, personal trainer and youth counselor from Binghamton, NY.

Halfway through this fast-track experiment, Pastor Calvin and Dr. Jessica asked each couple to dive into sexology and decide their stance on sex. On Day 12, the experts simply encouraged a dialogue.

"We're holding hands. We've kissed now. We're doing all the right things, but I want even more, and I'm not sure what's going to happen," Jona told the cameras.

Jona and Brandin's relationship got off to a slow start, but Brandin wanted to make sure she established a mental connection with Jona before they initiated a sexual relationship.

"In a marriage, sex and intimacy play a very important role. Without that physical component, the relationship goes from romantic to platonic, which leaves both partners feeling unsatisfied," Pastor Cal explained.

Katie and Eric slept in different beds, but Katie said they were "physical in different respects" and she's definitely worth the wait.

Chris and Jada did not have sex yet either, which Jada admitted came as a big surprise to most of the couples on Honeymoon Island since they are very touchy-feely and physical with one another.

Kimber then shared with Shannon how she had a sex dream about him.

Everyone seemed to be feeling the love, except for Isabella and Tyler, who were coming off a big fight.

"I'm so happy we didn't move too quickly and hook up because last night, we did not share a room at all. He slept somewhere else; I don't know where. So I'm not sure what the future has in store for us," Isabella explained.

Once Tyler returned to their shared room, he was feeling upset and defeated.

Tyler and Isabella then met with Pastor Cal and Jessica to talk out their issues. Isabella explained she was upset about the relay race but rather Tyler's lack of listening skills and trust in her instruction.

Tyler said he felt like Isabella had scolded him like a child and blamed the loss on him entirely, but Isabella said she was trying to get through to him when he had been acting resistant and defensive.

Pastor Cal thought this fight was "a little ridiculous," but Isabella saw big holes in their communication.

Jessica admitted Isabella tended to set extremely high expectations for her partner that could not be met, such as when she argued with David Norton about a loofah being dropped in the shower on Married at First Sight: Second Chances.

"Nobody is perfect 100 percent of the time, but little things like leaving the toilet seat up or losing a game should not be dealbreakers in a relationship. Otherwise, her chances of having a satisfying healthy relationship long-term is pretty low," Jessica told the cameras.

Isabella thought Tyler was great as a person but she wanted him to do better as a partner. Jessica asked Isabella to reinforce what Tyler does right instead of scold him for everything he does wrong, suggesting that her behavior emasculated him.

Tyler confessed to Pastor Cal he didn't think he could do better than Isabella, as she's gorgeous and they want the same things in life, but he was afraid to give 90 percent to the relationship when she's just giving 10 percent.

Meanwhile, Kimber and Shannon enjoyed a date at the waterfall. They were the only couple on the island having sex, but Shannon insisted their connection was much deeper than just the physical.

Kimber felt comfortable and really cared about with Shannon, telling the cameras, "I could see myself being in love with Shannon forever."

Kimber told Shannon, "I never felt like I met my match until now," and Shannon noted the more that he got to know Kimber, the more he was "feeling" her.

Jada and Chris were then shown discussing their boundaries about sex. Sex is very important to Chris, and he envisioned a perfect night with her would be candles around a bath in a romantic hotel room.

Jada couldn't stop thinking about how Chris sounded like a player. She told Chris that she doesn't take sex for granted and she's probably in love with him if she's having sex with him. Jada wasn't ready to make love unless they could be a serious couple after the show.

Chris told Jada that he was open to taking things slow, but he admitted if the sex was bad or they lacked chemistry in the bedroom, that would be a dealbreaker.

All of the couples, except for Tyler and Isabella, were then given an activity to help express themselves sexually. They had to feed each other cheese and chocolate covered strawberries while blindfolded.

Kimber and Shannon embraced the exercise, but Kimber hoped their mutual sexual attraction wasn't the only thing they had in common. Eric and Katie also took the activity seriously, unlike Brandin, who took advantage of an opportunity to tease and mess with Jona.

Jada didn't want to give too much too son, but she definitely found Chris to be a temptation.

Afterward, Brandin invited Jona to share her bed that, but the invitation came with an invisible line he was not allowed to cross.

That night, all of the couples attended a beach party, and Isabella and Tyler appeared to be back together.

"He's the love of my life. He's gorgeous, he's tall, has nice teeth and a nice tush," Isabella gushed to the cameras.

Similarly, Tyler was wrapped up in Isabella and thought she was completely amazing. He was then shown saying, "I love you," to his girl, and he just went for it.

But drama erupted that night, with Isabella expressing how Brandin flirted with other men. Although Brandin spanked Tyler's butt and touched the tattoo on his waist, Tyler said Isabella blamed him for the incident and he just couldn't do enough to make her happy.

Isabella told the other girls in the cast the next day that Tyler didn't respect their relationship and he crossed their boundaries by not putting Brandin in her place or walking away from a compromising position.

Brandin then joined the conversation and apologized for making Isabella feel uncomfortable. However, Brandin called it "a silly reaction" on Isabella's part because she's a very playful person.

The girls ganged up on Isabella and insisted she overreacted to things. Brandin even said Isabella was the problem and it would be crazy to ruin her relationship over something so small and insignificant.

Tyler told the experts he was so confused because he loved her but he didn't want to put up with this drama for the rest of his life. Tyler accused Isabella of lying to the experts to make it seem like he wasn't stepping up to the plate to resolve their issues.

When the experts asked Isabella if she was falling in love with Tyler in return, she refused to comment on that. Tyler felt Isabella owed him a huge apology because he had put his heart on the line for her and was "heartbroken."

Isabella had nothing to say, and Tyler admitted that conversation "shattered" him inside and he felt like "an absolute fool."

Tyler realized in that moment he wanted to go home and Isabella was not the woman whom he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Isabella really wanted things to work out, but they couldn't work through their problems.

"I don't think I did anything wrong. I'm going home," Isabella said.

Tyler thought he had found love at first sight with Isabella, but two fights ruined everything.

"I haven't cried this much since I was born," Tyler told the cameras.

"I believe God puts one person on this planet for you, and that's why this is so hard for me right now. I came to Honeymoon Island to find the love of my life, and I thought I found it with her. But I was wrong."
