Married at First Sight's prior couples have predicted Season 10 newlyweds Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman's relationship won't last long.

The couples imagined Katie and Derek running into problems during Lifetime's January 9 broadcast of Married at First Sight: Couples Couch, which features former MAFS couples offering commentary on encore broadcasts of the show's tenth season.
"So, Derek and Katie, are they going to make it?" Danielle asked her husband Bobby after they watched Katie and Derek exchange vows.
Bobby shook his head from side to side and then confessed, "No."
"I was going to say no too," Danielle agreed.
"No," Bobby reiterated.
Ashley, however, pointed out, "She looks happy," at the end of the wedding ceremony, and Anthony echoed his wife's comment by adding, "She does look happy. Very happy."
"But -- we'll just see," Ashley noted with skepticism and worry in her voice.
"This is Phase 1," Anthony pointed out.
After Katie and Derek were officially declared man and wife, Kristine also gushed about how Katie looked happy.

"She's like, 'Alright,' you know, 'This worked out better than I thought,'" Kristine observed. "She's clearly not terrified. She looks happy."
A clip then played of Derek and Katie discussing how they both love dogs and are in grad school. The couple sweetly told each other they could study as a team.
"Aww, cute. They can help each other. Study sessions," Kristine said.
"They have a lot in common," Shawniece said. "I think if she probably gives him a chance, they should work out."
"I don't see why she wouldn't [give him a chance]," Jephte said.
But Ashley appeared to remain skeptical of Katie and Derek's future together.
"I don't know. They like each other and this is great, but I don't know. I don't know," Ashley admitted.
"The [ex-]boyfriend thing is going to creep up," Anthony predicted, referring to how Katie's ex had professed his love to her prior to her appearance on Married at First Sight in attempt to reconcile and win her back.

"It could [creep up]," Anthony noted.

"Thank God [Katie] likes the way that [Derek] looks," Ashley said. "Because if she didn't, it would've been over."
Keith was then shown chanting on Couples Couch how Katie and Derek just needed to "trust the process," and then a different MAFS clip played of the Season 10 couple kissing and being affectionate with one another at their wedding reception.
"They look natural together," Ashley pointed out. "I think they definitely have chemistry. They definitely have chemistry."
Kristine then concluded, "He looks happy, and she looks hesitant -- I'll be honest. I don't want to say it."
"Yeah, he looks happy," Keith said, before Kristine observed, "She's like, 'What the f-ck did I do?!'"
Derek, a 26-year-old cyber security engineer from Maryland, was matched to marry Katie, a 25-year-old mental health professional from Virginia, by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Dr. Viviana Coles for Season 10, which premiered earlier this month.
Derek and Katie's wedding was featured in the second episode of Married at First Sight's tenth season.
Both spouses were immediately attracted to each other and felt chemistry, and the pair appeared to enjoy their wedding night, with a preview for next week's episode showing Katie and Derek had consummated their marriage right away.
In addition to Derek and Katie, Married at First Sight's season also stars Taylor Dunklin and Brandon Reid, Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice, Meka Jones and Michael Watson, and Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.
Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
