"#HarrisonPointing," Hamill captioned the image on Twitter Tuesday in reference to how both men are pointing to each other in the photo.
Hamill and Ford famous for portraying Luke Skywalker and Harrison Ford in the original "Star Wars" trilogy, were in each other's company recently during "Star Wars" Celebration in Orlando.
Ford appeared with Hamill during a star-studded panel celebrating the 40th anniversary of "Star Wars: A New Hope" which opened in theaters in May of 1977.
Despite both stars returning for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," their characters never crossed paths in the film as Luke Skywalker only appeared at the end after Han Solo had met his end at the hands of Kylo Ren.
