A Florida man has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for repackaging used enema kits and returning them to a drug store.
Ronald Eugene Robinson, of Jacksonville, who was 34 at the time of his arrest in October 2012, pleaded guilty to product tampering and was sentenced this week by Judge Timothy Corrigan to serve 30 months in prison followed by two years of supervised release, the (Jacksonville) Florida Times-Union reported Thursday.
Defense attorney Roland Falcon said his client was motivated by financial troubles when he returned the used enema kits.
CVS said it contacted 21 customers believed to have purchased the returned kits, which tested positive for fecal matter.
