The majority of a lawsuit filed against hip-hop superstar Eminem by an aunt and uncle was dismissed Monday by a judge in Mount Clemons, Mich.

However, Macomb County Circuit Judge Mary Chrzanowski left intact Jack and Betti Schmitt's claim their nephew owes them for improvements they made on a house he owns in Clinton Township, Mich., the Detroit Free Press reported.

Chrzanowski left the door open for the Schmitt's to amend their original claims against the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers. She gave them 14 days to amend the suit and gave Eminem 45 days to give a deposition.

The Schmitts claimed Eminem had them move from Missouri in 2001 to give him "emotional support" and promised them payments in excess of $500,000 and a house worth up to $350,000.

They moved into the Clinton Township house Em bought in 2003 and made improvements under the impression he was going to transfer the title to house into their name, they claim. Instead, they were evicted earlier this year.

The judge has imposed a gag order in the case.
