Macaulay Culkin booed off the stage by Nottingham audience

Macaulay Culkin was met with an icy reception this weekend in England.
The 33-year-old actor and his band Pizza Underground were in Nottingham on Sunday to perform at the 2014 Dot to Dot Festival. Pizza Underground is a Velvet Underground cover band that changes the group's lyrics to be about pizza.
Culkin and his band handed out slices of pizza and managed to perform Pizza Day, their version of Lou Reed's Perfect Day, before the audience started to boo. Some began throwing full pints of beer at the stage, which prompted Culkin to ask, "Why are you throwing those? I'd rather drink them!"
Pizza Underground attempted to continue the concert, but the number of alcoholic missiles became overwhelming. Culkin and his bandmates were hit by several beers, and abruptly put an end to the performance.
"That's the end of the show. Goodnight," the frontman announced as he exited the stage.
The band later tweeted, "Thank you so much Nottingham and dot to dot. Sorry that a couple people ruined it for everyone."
