Beverly Sills will host the March 31 performance of "Passion" as part of Lincoln Center's "American Songbook" series on PBS that will be telecast live from the Frederick P. Rose Hall at 8 p.m. EST, reported Playbill online Tuesday.

The semi-staged concert of the Tony Award-winning musical will star Patti LuPone, Audra McDonald and Michael Cerveris. The threesome, directed by Lonny Price, will be backed by a 56-piece orchestra.

Based on Ettore Scola's Italian film "Passion d'Amore," the tale of obsessive love includes Sondheim songs including: "Happiness,""I Read,""I Wish I Could Forget You,""Loving You" and "No One Has Ever Loved Me." The show originally opened on Broadway May 9, 1994.
