Some residents of a Buffalo, N.Y., suburb object to a store's new window display of a life-like mannequin wearing a lace teddy with a pearl G-string.

Dollhouse Lingerie's window display, located next door to a comic-book store, was the subject of a complaint at the Village of Kenmore town board meeting, the Buffalo News reported Sunday.
Kenmore Village Mayor John W. Beaumont said there is no law regulating store window displays, except for pornographic materials. Beaumont said despite the display of the sheer black panty and bra set and a see-through aquamarine baby doll with a matching thong -- the owner is not breaking the law.
The complaints were a surprise to the store's manager.
"This is brand new to me," said manager Keith Acosta about the complaints. "Nobody's ever come into the store to tell us about it."
