Lindsay Lohan will settle the case of the allegedly stolen necklace by pleading no contest to a theft charge in a Los Angeles court, sources tell TMZ.com.

Lohan could enter the plea before Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner as early as next week, said the sources, who TMZ said Saturday are connected to the case.
Lohan was originally charged with walking out of a Venice jewelry story wearing a necklace she had been trying on. The charge has since been reduced to a misdemeanor although Lohan publicly denies she was trying to steal the bauble.
Sautner earlier sentenced Lohan to 120 days in jail plus 480 hours of community service for violating her probation. Sources told TMZ Lohan is hopeful pleading no contest will result in no additional jail time.
