Lohan is on probation for a 2007 driving under the influence conviction. A warrant was issued for her arrest last month after she failed to attend a court hearing because she was at the Cannes film festival in France and couldn't find her passport. The judge overseeing the case allowed her to post bail and rescinded the warrant. The judge then ordered Lohan to wear an alcohol-detection device, stating she believed the actresses problems were deeply rooted in her substance abuse.
The Times said Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel issued another arrest warrant Tuesday and ordered Lohan to post $200,000 bail to avoid detention after she allegedly violated the terms of her probation during the weekend.
Although Revel did not say specifically how Lohan is to have done this, the newspaper reported the warrant was issued after Lohan's device detected she had consumed alcohol after Sunday's MTV Movie Awards show.
Lohan is due back in court July 6.
The 23-year-old actress is best known for her work in "Mean Girls," "Freaky Friday" and "The Parent Trap."
