Lindsay Lohan's spokesman says the actress' remarks about being best choice to star in "Black Swan" were overblown when they appeared in print.

Lohan stirred up some more Tinseltown buzz when a Plum Magazine article said she had complained she was a better choice than Natalie Portman for the Oscar-winning role because she had taken ballet lessons until she was 19 years old.
E! Online said this week that Lohan's camp quickly put a damper on the uproar. "The 'Black Swan' comments were completely blown out of proportion," Lohan rep Steve Honig told E!.
Honig also downplayed the article' s claims that Lohan was drinking and behaving in a generally obnoxious manner while in Miami to shoot the cover of the magazine.
"Lindsay was not drinking on set," he said. "The overall picture they painted of the situation is not representative of what actually occurred, tons of things were taken out of context."
