LeAnn Rimes says she has no regrets about cheating on her husband with married actor Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes and Cibrian, who co-starred together in the 2009 Lifetime movie "Northern Lights," have since divorced their respective spouses -- Dean Sheremet and Brandi Glanville -- and are living together.

However, Rimes admits she still finds herself the target of critics who brand her a home-wrecker for her affair with Cibrian.

"The fact that anyone would print that without actually even talking to my side was shocking," Rimes said in an interview for ABC's special, "Robin Roberts: All Access Nashville."

"That's just not me. What happened is not who I am, period," she said. "But I do know how much I love him. So I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."

Rimes said the manner in which they fell in love is nothing unusual.

"It happens every day to so many people. And I if I take away my album sales, my words, and you have just another couple. You had two couples whose marriages didn't work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love," Rimes said. "I can't change (critics') minds. Nothing I'm going to say is going to change it. I do know that and I have accepted that."
