VH1 has revealed the country singer and her husband's reality show LeAnn & Eddie has been canceled after just one season on the air, Us Weekly reported.

LeAnn & Eddie premiered in July 2014 and chronicled the couple's relationship, which began when they both left their former spouses for one another.

Rimes, 32, insisted in the series' first episode she wasn't a "homewrecker," according to Us, and her intention was to have critical fans finally learn their side of the story.

"This show gave us an opportunity to take back our lives in a way and show a different side of us than what people really believe," Rimes reportedly explained in the episode. "Look, if their minds are changed or opened or whatever, that's wonderful. But if not, I don't think we're really set up to change anyone's mind."

In May 2001, Cibrian, 41, married The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and The Celebrity Apprentice star Brandi Glanville and they had two sons. Meanwhile, Rimes had been married to Dean Sheremet since 2002. Months of speculation ensued Cibrian and Rimes were having an affair after meeting on the set of Lifetime's original movie Northern Lights.

Shortly after going public with Rimes in Summer 2009, Cibrian filed for divorce from Glanville citing irreconcilable differences. Likewise, Rimes separated from Sheremet for a couple months before announcing her plans to divorce him in Fall 2009. Both of their divorces were finalized in 2010.

Cibrian and Rimes, who also previously hosted Nashville Star's third season, got engaged in December 2010 and went on to wed in April of the following year.
