The Hollywood Reporter said neither the Christina Ricci-led "Z," which is about author F. Scott Fitzgerald's wife, Zelda Fitzgerald, in the 1920s, nor Matt Bomer's "Tycoon," which is based on an unfinished work by F. Scott Fitzgerald about the early Hollywood film industry, were picked up for a second season because the streaming service wants to focus on developing hits for a broader audience.
Meanwhile, Variety reported TNT opted against ordering more episodes of "Will" due to the show's low ratings.
Set in 16th century London, the series followed young William Shakespeare as a struggling poet and playwright.
