One of Budapest's most revered historical sites, near-450-year-old Turkish baths, has become the site of gay orgies, the Budapest Sun reported Thursday.

A state television reporter entered the state-owned Kiralyfurdo Turkish baths with a hidden camera at a time designated for men only. Zoltan Garabuczi said while in the public pool area he was constantly approached and solicited by near-naked men as he recorded men embracing, kissing and having sex in the public pool.
One government official who had seen the video told the newspaper, "The management may see more than just the water being changed."
The revelation is a major embarrassment for the federal Ministry of Tourism, which uses the Ottoman-era landmark extensively in its promotions.
A promotional video that includes the steam baths ends with Hollywood actor Tony Curtis saying "Some like it hot!," the title of one of his best known films. Ironically, the word hot in Hungarian is "meleg," which also means gay.
