Lady Gaga will apparently get to chat face-to-face with American Idol finalist Haley Reinhart this week.

Fox has announced Lady Gaga will help mentor the Top 4 performances of Reinhart and fellow remaining tenth-season American Idol finalists Lauren Alaina, James Durbin and Scotty McCreery on next week's live performance show.

The performance show, which will air Wednesday, May 11 at 8PM ET/PT, will feature the Top 4 finalists performing the songs of renowned American songwriting and producing duo Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller.

Reinhart sang "You and I," an unreleased Lady Gaga song, during this week's Top 5 performance show -- but only after she received the Grammy-winning singer's approval to perform the single.

"[In-house Idol mentor] Jimmy Iovine came to me and he was really excited about this song.  He [was] like, 'You know what, it hasn't been released yet [but] she does it at her concerts [and] it's an amazing song, I think that you would do a good take on it,'" Reinhart told American Idol host Ryan Seacrest prior to her Wednesday night performance of "You and I."

"I didn't know about the idea at first, and I was like, 'You know what Jimmy, especially if I could get her blessing on it, if I could speak to her and see if [it's] alright, because I don't want to step on anybody's toes.'  [And] I got to speak with her [and] she was excited about it as well, [so] I was like, 'You know what, I'm going to go for it!'"
