Lady Gaga, a pop star known for her edgy songs and outrageous costumes, is looking to buy a house in rural Pennsylvania, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.

The recording star is considering purchasing a $2 million home in an exclusive gated community called Bent Creek, a few miles outside Lititz, the newspaper said.

The New York-born singer is dating "The Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney, a Lancaster County native who appeared with her in her music video "You and I."

The couple have been seen shopping and dining in the area in recent months, the Post-Gazette said.

Lancaster County is home to one of the biggest Amish communities in the United States.
