Khloe Kardashian is apparently thrilled the year 2013 will soon be over and she's ready to start anew.

"I love the new year, new beginnings. I need a good fresh start; I'm excited for this year to be over with... You only live once so let's make that one time perfect. We can't fix our mistakes and imperfections, so let's have fun. You get what you give out in life," the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told the U.K. edition of Cosmopolitan magazine in a recent interview.

"I don't regret anything about my life. My life has made me who I am at this moment and I'm very happy with who I am. No matter if it's great, disgusting, beautiful or ugly; it happens and it makes you you. Life is about how you process things."

Kardashian, 29, has seemingly had a rough year. She filed for divorce from Lamar Odom, her 34-year-old husband of four years and former Khloe & Lamar co-star, earlier this month following endless reports Odom had a devastating addiction to crack cocaine and cheated on her multiple times.

"In the past year I think I've lost around 30lbs, and I'm feeling good," Kardashian said. "I've worked very hard on my body so I think now I can sex it up a little! My 2014 mission is to wear a crop top with jeans. I've never done that so it has to happen one day."

The reality TV star is clearly working on her image but insisted, despite rumors, she's never gotten a nose job.

"Words are the most powerful weapon; they can leave scars forever. She didn't mean harm, but when I was around nine I overheard my [mom Kris Jenner] telling her friend I needed a nose job. I was shocked; I hadn't even thought about it. I've grown into my face but I've had makeup artists tell me, 'You should get a nose job.' I'm so happy that I never have," she explained to the magazine.

"I'm proud for losing weight when I wanted to and I've never resorted to surgery. I'm not against it -- one day I probably will but it would be on my terms. I won't be bullied into it by social media or anyone else. I love my body and always have."

In fact, Kardashian said she never takes herself seriously and has a pretty thick skin.

"When I joke about my camel toe or my big vagina on TV, I don't realize how many people are watching! I'm with my sisters and we're the same off camera -- that's how sisters are. Then I go out and someone will say, 'Oh, my God I have a big vagina too!' I'm like, 'WHAT?' That's when I can't believe I said that out loud," Kardashian told Cosmopolitan.

"But I love to be silly and make people laugh. It's a compliment, and liberating to think my sisters and I might make other women feel okay about talking about this stuff too."

She continued, "Women can be quick to attack each other, when we should be building each other up. There are enough people out there who'll put you down. We should be each other's biggest cheerleaders. I'm not happy with my arms, so if I see a girl with great arms I compliment her. It doesn't make me hate her; it motivates me to lift more weights."

In addition, Kardashian admitted she's a little anxious about watching the growth of her young lively niece -- sister Kim Kardashian's baby North "Nori" West with fiance Kanye West.

"Kanye is such an awesome dad, and he's so opinionated and passionate. North is only five-and-a-half months old but you can see she has opinions and a strong personality already. I'm kind of nervous to see what she's like when she's older but I think she'll be incredibly confident because Kim and Kanye are," Kardashian added.
