Khloe Kardashian has responded to allegations Donald Trump called her "the ugly Kardashian" and a "fat piglet" when she competed on Season 2 of The Celebrity Apprentice in 2009.

Multiple staffers from The Apprentice franchise told The Huffington Post that the 32-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was fired because the Republican presidential nominee was not satisfied with her appearance.

"I didn't think he was saying those things about me," Kardashian told the Los Angeles Times on Monday. "But he says those comments about a lot of women -- really derogatory things. Someone who is that simplistic to judge things off of surface is not someone I want running my country."

Kardashian was the seventh person Trump fired from her season on Episode 6. One editor from the show told The Post, "[Trump] basically wanted to just get rid of her," claiming he said, "What is this? We can't even get the hot one?"

Another Apprentice source said that when Trump fired the Strong Looks Better Naked author, "It wasn't on merit. It was on him not liking her."

Kardashian has vocally supported the Democratic nominee for president, Hillary Clinton, and has no issue revealing why.

"It's not cool or appropriate for any person, male or female, to judge someone else by their looks. I find it really cruel. It's wild," Kardashian told The Times. "I'm very good on energy, and I just never really vibed with him from the start."

Many women have publicly come forward in the last week accusing Trump of sexual harassment and/or inappropriate conduct and offensive language in the past, including former The Apprentice contestant Summer Zervos.

Although sources allege Trump had body-shamed Kardashian -- who struggled with her weight and confidence for years prior to making a recent, and fairly drastic, physical transformation -- the reality TV star isn't really phased by it.

"I'm a tough cookie, so something that he said -- that's not going to bother me. Ninety percent of the time, [criticism] doesn't bother me. I'm not sure why. I think I'm just in my own world," the blonde beauty explained.

"But I believe that's why [those incidents] happen to me, because I can take it. If that's what it takes to get even just this little group of people to realize how shady and bad and negative that one person is, I can take it."
