MTV reports that Kelly Osbourne is to start work on her debut album next month.

Kelly has already recorded a rocked-up version of Madonna’s 'Papa Don’t Preach' and will work with producer Ric Wake on her solo LP. Wake has previously worked with Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey.

Kelly has pointed out, not surprisingly, that her album will sound nothing like the work of Dion, Lopez or Carey, which may or may not be a relief to you. The album should be ready for an Autumn release.
