Katy Perry to guest star on CBS' 'How I Met Your Mother' sitcom

Pop star Katy Perry is set to guest star on an episode of the U.S. sitcom "How I Met Your Mother," CBS said.

Perry will play Zoey's cousin -- a beautiful, naive girl the gang resorts to calling "Honey," the network said in a synopsis Thursday.
Jennifer Morrison plays Zoey.
"Katy is a tremendous talent and we are delighted to be able to work with her," Carter Bays, co-creator and executive producer of the show, said in a statement.
