Kate Hudson concedes she is battling the physical side effects of pregnancy as she makes her way toward her summer due date.

Hudson said in a recent interview in Britain's The Time that she has been dealing with morning sickness as well as "pregnancy brain," which has wearing on her as well, People magazine said Saturday.

"I babble a lot," Hudson said. "I forget words, and how to put sentences together. I just give up."

Hudson also said her woozy condition led her to withdraw from the Hollywood scene for a while, which she said seemed to fuel talk that she and boyfriend Matthew Bellamy were expecting.

"You're somewhere in LA, and somebody says something, and it ends up somewhere," she said.
