Kate Beckinsale will reprise her role as the vampire "Selene" in a fourth "Underworld" film to be released in January 2012.
The third film in the series was a prequel starring Rhona Mitra.
The script for the new flick was written by John Hlavin and is being revised by J. Michael Straczynsk.
Shooting begins in March, though producers are still looking for a director and an actress to play Selene's daughter, EW said.
