Kaitlyn Bristowe has admitted she felt "triggered" by the announcement there will be two stars of The Bachelorette's upcoming nineteenth season.

The Bachelor host Jesse Palmer revealed on After the Final Rose for Clayton Echard's season earlier this month that The Bachelorette 19 will feature both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia as leading ladies this year.

The announcement apparently brought back bad memories for Kaitlyn, who had to face off against Britt Nilsson for The Bachelorette role on Season 11 in 2015 after both women also competed to win Chris Soules' heart on The Bachelor 19.

"I was triggered," the 36-year-old podcast host told her fiance Jason Tartick when the couple sweetly interviewed each other for a video published by E! News on Tuesday.

Jason called ABC's decision to have dual leads for the upcoming season "crazy," and Kaitlyn apparently agrees.

"I was like, 'Oh my gosh, can't a woman have her own season?'" Kaitlyn said.

"It feels like it was [Clare Crawley] and then she was gone. And then it had to be [Tayshia Adams]. And then it was [Katie Thurston] and then, back-to-back, [Michelle Young]. And now it's the two Bachelorettes again."

On The Bachelorette's eleventh-season premiere, the Night 1 men had a little time to talk to both Kaitlyn and Britt and get to know them, and by the end of the evening, the bachelors had to vote for which woman they'd like to continue dating.

The votes ultimately carried for Kaitlyn, who proceeded to star on the rest of the season and get engaged to Shawn Booth in the finale, and Britt was forced to go home immediately on the first night of filming.

However, Jesse confirmed both Gabby and Rachel will serve as Bachelorettes for the "entire" season this summer when the show debuts Monday, July 11 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

ABC creator and executive producer Mike Fleiss also insisted the two women -- who bonded on Clayton's season over being strung along, hurt and dumped simultaneously -- will not be pitted against each other; however, the format details of Season 19 have yet to be released.

But that doesn't seem good enough for Kaitlyn, who previously hosted Seasons 17 and 18 of The Bachelorette.

"I just want somebody to have their own season and I just don't want it to be them pitted against each other," Kaitlyn explained.

"I don't know how the format is going to work. I don't know what their little system is going to be, but I know how two Bachelorettes felt and it felt like we were being pitted against each other for the men to decide."

Kaitlyn continued in her interview with Jason, "And we could all get weird on what's acceptable and what's not in The Bachelor world because, really, that is always a gray area."

Kaitlyn recently admitted she's "sad" she will not be a part of Gabby and Rachel's journeys on the show next season considering Jesse was selected as host and he ultimately replaced Kaitlyn and co-host Tayshia Adams.

"I just wish I was there for it because I know how it feels!" concluded Kaitlyn, who is currently planning her wedding with Jason.

Many fans appear to feel the same way, as they hope Gabby and Rachel will be able to support each other and lift each other up on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season.

After all, the women went through a lot on Clayton's edition.

Viewers watched Clayton break up with and devastate Gabby and Rachel in a group dumping session after sleeping with the both of them and also professing his love to three women.

Clayton let Gabby and Rachel go in order to chase down the woman he was "the most in love with," Susie Evans, who had quit during Fantasy Suites due to Clayton's decision to be intimate with two other ladies.

Gabby and Rachel were sent packing when they were both totally in love with Clayton and had met his family. Clayton made each girl feel like she was going to be the one at the end with him, but he is now dating Susie in the real world.

On the After the Final Rose special, Gabby said Clayton had known it would be a dealbreaker for her to learn that he loved Susie "the most" yet he didn't share that information with her at the time she accepted a rose post-Fantasy Suites.

"As you said, you compartmentalized our relationships. Watching it back, everything is so muddled and you were clearly pitting us against each other. It really seemed like a competition, which I had expressed to you I didn't want to be a part of," Gabby explained.

"And it seemed like you had your mind set on Susie WAY before you wanted to tell us, and you kept going back to Rachel and I, 'Oh, I want to try this and I want you to meet my family -- but I can't stop thinking about Susie and I love Susie the most.'"

Rachel also admitted to feeling betrayed, misled and "cast aside" by The Bachelor 26 star.

The Bachelorette's nineteenth season began filming on Saturday, and the initial cast of 35 potential suitors was released by ABC last week.

On The Bachelorette's official Instagram page, the new season is already dubbed "dreamy, surprising, empowering, amazing, romantic and dramatic" in a promo.

"Everyone keeps asking [how it's going to work]. We just got thrown in," Gabby said during a Good Morning America appearance before filming commenced.

"But I have faith and a lot of trust and I love Rachel to death and I know we're gonna have each other's backs the whole way, so there's really not a doubt in my mind that it's gonna end up well."
