Wholesome teen pop star Justin Bieber gets to play a bad guy on the season premiere of the CBS crime drama "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."

The 16-year-old Canadian posted a picture Friday on Twitter of himself being led away while wearing an orange prison jumpsuit with his arms behind his back.

"I told you I was a BAD MAN!!" Bieber wrote on his Twitter page, referring to his upcoming role as a troubled teen in the Sept. 23 episode kicking off the "CSI" season.

"amazing day. excited for you guys to get to watch it," Bieber wrote.

The show's producers said in a statement Thursday Bieber's appearance would be a "great treat" for the show's viewers, US magazine reported.

"Every 20 years, a phenomenon like Justin Bieber graces our world," they said. "We'd like to believe that the phenomenon of 'CSI' has had the same impact on popular culture. This will be true event television."
