The announcement was made Wednesday by Orly Adelson, president of dick clark productions.
This marks the first time any of three singers will perform at the AMAs. They are also all nominated for Artist of the Year, along with Lady Gaga and Eminem.
Previously announced acts to perform at the AMAs are Christina Aguilera, Bon Jovi, P!nk and Usher.
"Justin, Katy and Ke$ha have been on the top of the charts all year long. We are happy to see each of them make their own AMA history," AMA producer Larry Klein said in a statement.
The event is to take place Nov. 21 at the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE.
