People.com said Lewis, 37, was in a chauffeured Lincoln Town Car and leaving an event for her new movie "Conviction" when the vehicle was struck Wednesday night.
"The sedan Juliette was traveling in was completely totaled," her representative Carleen Donovan told the magazine. "Ms. Lewis ... is a bit banged up and sore but otherwise, thankfully, okay. She is now resting at home."
Police are investigating the collision, the report said.
Lewis' film credits include "Kalifornia" and "Natural Born Killers."
