The 21-year-old "Counting On" star confirmed in an Instagram post Monday that he recently proposed to Lauren Swanson.

"I feel like the most blessed guy on earth... Lauren said YES!" Duggar captioned a photo with his bride-to-be.

"God definitely opened our eyes in his perfect timing to show us how we complete each other," he said. "The more time I spend with Lauren the more I realize how I can't live without her. There's no one else I'd rather spend my days and grow old with!"

Duggar said in an interview with Us Weekly that he popped the question at the same spot where Swanson's parents got engaged.

"This is an exciting, big step in our lives, and the whole thing was very meaningful," the star said.

"It's going to be neat to see two great families come together in this union," he added.

"It'll take a lot of planning since we have big families on both sides, but we're very excited to get started and so thankful for how God has brought our lives together."

Duggar had announced in January that he was "officially courting" Swanson, a longtime family friend.

"It's truly an exciting time for us, as we take this big step in establishing a relationship, getting to know one another even better, and praying toward our future," he told People at the time.

Duggar and his family came to fame on the TLC series "19 Kids & Counting," and now star on "Counting On."

His sister Jinger Duggar is pregnant and expecting her first child with Jeremy Vuolo, whom she married in November 2016.
