Jonathan Jackson, who has played Lucky Spencer on "General Hospital" off and on since 1993, is leaving the U.S. soap opera, TV Guide Magazine said.

Exhausted by a heavy workload and dark-themed story-lines, Jackson is to tape his final scenes Nov. 17. He is expected to last appear on the show by the middle of next month, the report said.
"We can neither confirm nor deny [the story]," a show representative told the television magazine.
