The Jon & Kate Plus 8 stars spent the July 4th holiday together with their eight children at their Wernersville, PA home, Us Weekly reported Monday.

While Kate filed for a no-fault divorce last month and the couple publicly announced their separation during a subsequent Jon & Kate Plus 8 broadcast, both also acknowledged that they planned to try and spend holidays with their 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets.

The Gosselin's Independence Day festivities included Jon helping Kate pick blueberries in their backyard to make her annual American flag dessert and the couple setting off sparklers with their kids at night, according to Us, which added Jon also rode an ATV and spent time with the family's two dogs.

The July 4th celebration was not filmed by TLC for Jon & Kate Plus 8, which has been on hiatus for the last four weeks as the couple was given "some time off to regroup."

Jon & Kate Plus 8 will return on August 3.
