Matt Kirschner of Talent Resources, which represents the "Jon & Kate Plus 8" star, told The Buffalo (N.Y.) News that Gosselin was paid an unspecified appearance fee for Saturday night's appearance at the theme park in the Buffalo, N.Y., suburb.

Kirschner said Gosselin did offer free autographs to interested parties during his appearance.

"Under no circumstances," the talent representative said of the possibility Gosselin would charge fans for his signature. "He's a family man."

Gosselin's appearance at the park comes amid a rash of media attention as he and his wife, Kate, are preparing to divorce. Gosselin, 32, has also been the target of reports of extramarital activities, the Buffalo News said.

"Jon & Kate" on The Learning Channel follows the lives of Jon and Kate as they attempt to raise sextuplets and a pair of twins.
