JJ Lane and Juelia Kinney failed to work out their relationship issues on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars, and they don't appear to even have a good friendship right now.

JJ, who has a five-year-old daughter Gemma, seemingly took a couple of shots at Juelia, a single mom to four-year-old Ireland, during a recent interview with Life & Style.

JJ admitted to pulling an Ashley Iaconetti while filming Marriage Boot Camp in late 2016, which means he cried -- a lot.

However, JJ revealed that wasn't the case with Juelia, telling Life & Style, "Juelia doesn't cry. She's, you know, ice woman."

JJ continued, "I give her credit. I'm more of an emotional guy. I'm front of the jet, flying the plane, I don't know who my goose would be."

If being an alleged ice queen wasn't enough, JJ appeared to take another jab at his ex while gushing about his new girlfriend, Kayla Hughes, a brunette Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader who works in orthopedic device sales and is not a former alum of The Bachelor franchise.

"[I'm in] an amazing, very healthy, loving relationship with someone that's not related to any TV," JJ explained of Kayla, whom he publicly announced he was dating in late September on Instagram, shortly after Juelia revealed she's seriously dating Evan Bass' brother Aaron Bass.

"I wanted a normal human being that wasn't worried about her Instagram following and how many views she got on her Instagram story, so thank goodness."

Hours before JJ talked to the magazine, Juelia explained what went wrong in her relationship with JJ and why they broke up.

"One of the drills that we did, the information that came out of it was very shocking and hard to deal with. Just based on information from Boot Camp -- which is the whole purpose of doing it -- we realized we weren't compatible, let's just put it that way," she told Life & Style.

Juelia also gushed about meeting her new "hot, charming and wonderful" boyfriend ahead of pal Carly Waddell and Evan's June 2017 wedding.

In addition, Juelia revealed she doesn't talk to JJ anymore but wishes him well in life and has no hard feelings toward him.

JJ and Juelia met on Bachelor in Paradise's second season, which aired in Summer 2015. At the time, the pair were only friends.

JJ later confirmed he was dating Juelia in September 2016, saying things had gotten serious between them two months prior.

Prior to meeting on Bachelor in Paradise, JJ vied for Kaitlyn Bristowe's affection on The Bachelorette's eleventh edition, and Juelia competed for Chris Soules' heart on The Bachelor's nineteenth season.
