Jewel says she is pregnant with her first child.
"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" Jewel told People.com Tuesday.
"It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set (of the TV show) and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"
Although People.com said Jewel is in her second trimester, the baby's gender and expected birth date were not reported.
