Jessica Alba will join comedian Dane Cook in the cast of the new film "Good Luck Chuck," it was reported in Hollywood.

Alba beat out Jessica Biel for the romantic lead in the film by editor-turned-director Mark Helfrich, Moviehole.net reported.
Cook plays a dentist who finds out that every woman he dates finds her soul mate shortly after breaking up with him -- which allows him to remain happily single.
