Jennifer Lopez pulls out of big screen 'Dallas' TV show adaptation

Singer-actress Jennifer Lopez has pulled out of the movie version of the classic TV drama, "Dallas," in which she was to have played the alcoholic Sue Ellen.

The Star reported that the 36-year-old actress has left the film's cast for unspecified reasons, but the "On the 6" singer's representative Leslie Sloane Zelnik confirmed the news.
"She is out of 'Dallas'," Zelnik told the paper.
"Dallas" originally aired on CBS in 1978. During its 14 seasons on the air, the prime time soap opera entertained viewers with the chaotic marriage between Sue Ellen and the show's infamous character, J.R. Ewing -- to be played by John Travolta in the movie version.
