U.S. singer Jennifer Lopez made a point of pampering herself during her visit to Italy for the wedding of actors Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

The 37-year-old was one of the U.S. celebrities invited to the gala event outside of Rome, yet even before Lopez's flight left for Italy the pop star was finding outlandish ways to indulge herself, Us Weekly said.

The "Jenny from the Block" singer reportedly had her assistant place personal belongings on seats on the plane to make sure that she would have the most desirable location when she arrived.

Next Lopez trumped the bride-to-be at a casual group dinner Thursday night by arriving dressed in an elegant gown, Us said. The singer had flown in her very own hair stylist to make sure she looked her best during the wedding excursion.

Us Weekly said to top it all off, after the wedding the "On the 6" performer made a waiter deliver leftovers to her room in the middle of the night so that she and her husband, singer Marc Anthony, would have a snack for the plane ride home.
