Jennifer Beals joins the cast of 'The Grudge 2' movie sequel

"Flashdance" star Jennifer Beals was added Friday to the cast of "The Grudge 2."

Currently appearing on Showtime's "The L Word," Beals' "Grudge" character is being kept a secret by Columbia Pictures and Ghost House Pictures, The Hollywood Reporter said.
The sequel to the 2004 horror hit is starring former "Joan of Arcadia" star Amber Tamblyn and is being directed by Takashi Shimizu.
The sequel reportedly digs into the secrets behind the grudge's wrath and introduces a seemingly unrelated group of people who are connected by the curse.
