David Hesterbey also was ordered to stay 1,000 yards away from the actress and her home for the next 10 years, People magazine reported.
Hesterbey, who police said was homeless, spoke briefly during the hearing, but did not offer details about what happened. Aniston was not in court.
Prosecutors said Hesterbey, 49, took a cab from Santa Barbara to Malibu, ran out on the $250 taxi fare, climbed a 9-foot fence onto Aniston's property and entered her rented house, telling staff he was "looking for Jennifer."
Aniston was in Chicago at the time filming "The Break Up" with Vince Vaughn.
Hesterbey's attorney told People his client was not a crook or stalker -- he was simply an aspiring actor hoping the former "Friends" star could give him a career boost.
Hesterbey has a prior petty theft conviction and about 10 aliases, People said.
