Jennifer Aniston's high school sweetheart scuttles auction plan
UPI News Service, 07/29/2005
A teenage sweetheart of "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston scuttled plans to auction their romantic memorabilia on eBay after the actress asked him not to.
The California attorney made international news earlier this week when he announced he was selling a lot of his Aniston mementos, including a birthday card the then 16-year-old Aniston made for him out of toilet paper.
Michael Baroni sent an e-mail to E! Online saying he did not begin the online auction as scheduled Friday because Aniston's reps told him the actress would prefer he not do that.
Baroni said he probably won't sell the intimate items in the near future.
"I have nothing but fond memories of Jennifer as a friend, and only wish her well," he wrote.
