Jane Lynch confirms she is engaged to longtime girlfriend Lara Embry

U.S. actress Jane Lynch has confirmed she is engaged to her longtime girlfriend, psychologist Lara Embry.

"Yes, yes, it's true!" Lynch, one of the stars of TV's "Glee," told UsMagazine.com regarding rumors of her betrothal.

"We don't have any plans at all yet," she said. "But I have a ring and everything. We're very happy and very excited!"

Lynch's film credits include "Julie & Julia" and "Best in Show."
